Aug competition results!! Everyone won a prize! :-)

Sep 1st 2010

Hello Dear Tea lovers :)!

Thank you so much! for sending answers to our Website launch August competition! We had 7 correct answers ! Yes it was (around) BC 2737 that all experts believe tea was first drunk by the emperor Shen Nung  (most probably in what is now the province Szechwan) who  according to the old tea legend discovered that leaves from a bush in his garden, when infused in hot water, produced a refreshing new drink which we all now call ‘TEA’.

Congratulations to Maja Drapiewska & Co 🙂 who won a bag of  bestseller loose leaf tea by Emeyu (our sponsor: http://www.emeyu.com)  called ” EIGHT BUTTERFLIES” : a fantastic unique mixture of Japanese green tea (sencha & genmaicha), cranberries, rose petals and more!

All other competition participans received boxes of hand-made muslin cotton tea bags by Emeyu: Pu-erh chai & White Pai Mu Tan!

Congratulations once again! I look forward to reading what you thought of the tea sent to you 🙂

Another competition coming next year! STAY TEA-UNED 🙂
